Caliguy8302
So I just downloaded the archives and... @.@;. Without a proper search function it's near impossible to find what you're looking for. Such a shame .
Fulano
Califguy8302 - I noticed that too, but you can search using Finder (Mac) or File Explorer (Windows).
Caliguy8302
Oh really? How do you do that? I'm on windows so File Explorer for me. There is a particular story I'm kind of wanting to find at the moment and can't remember the name. I might be able to ask about it here, but I figured if I could find it in the archives it'd be better.
Fulano
If you knew one of the words in the title, you could search the "indexes" folder for that word. Similarly, if you knew one of the words in the story (a fairly unusual one would help) you could search the "threads" folder for it. Or you could search for the author's name too if you knew it. Anyway, that's what I've been doing. Good luck! :-)

Caliguy8302
Thank you so much for this tip Fulano! Unfortunately for me though, I've spent the last 45 minutes searching and still can't find the story. I should have found it easily with the first two words.
convolution
Thanks for this. It aleviates some of the sadness of losing that community.
Fulano
To search within the contents of the .html files, Windows 7 users will probably have to do this: http://www.howtogeek...windows-search/ If you're using Windows XP, consider yourself smacked.
