And it occurred to me that Ben drops out of sight for two chapters in a row, and he is the character most readers probably identify with and are most interested in. So I wrote a new chapter from Ben's perspective, set between the existing third and fourth chapters. So it's a new Chapter 4, and it bumps existing 4 and 5 to now be 5 and 6. I'll post the metabods link here because 1. wow the formatting from 2016 is a pain to read and I don't have the time/inclination to fix it, 2. if I just copy and paste the new chapter here it'll appear out of sequence, and 3. I have made little revisions and edits to the entire piece since 2016, so anyone who wants to read from the start can access the "most correct" version here: https://metabods.com/mbxy/site/story.php?id=the-heart-is-a-muscle-1884 If you just want the new chapter, that's number 4, and it's there right now.
