It seems clear he has no regard for his former friend and may as well just put Gregg out of his misery and find someone else to worship his size. After all, Gregg is now a waste of space. Maybe Gregg can use the ring to entice more men over for Mike to take their size. Maybe Mike *does* shrink Gregg out of existance and has to force his way out of the building to find a new worshipper. Maybe a neighbor or curious stranger knocks on the door and joins in the fun.
