The Gamma Wave (Pt. 3 Updated 4/12/2024)

Well written and perfectly paced! I like the speculative fiction of how Dr. Banner's story could be miscontrued after his passing, but I especially enjoy the vacillating attitude of the protagonist towards the Green Wave. It's refreshing to see something other than "can't wait to hulk out" and "desperately resisting before instantly giving in". It's a fine line to walk, but again, it's well executed. I look forward to the finale. Hopefully Finn will ride the Green Wave to toxic-free waters! ;)

Let's see how @kmxd will surprise us! Like you, I do love feelgood stories with a happy end (felt in the heart), but there exist an alternative satisfaction with stories in which the protagonist end up a bad boy (more visceral). I'm eager to see which direction this story will take.

Thank you! I was unsure about pushing this out, just because it wasn't just another Hulk story with the usual Banner-focused cliches like you said. That back and forth that Finn has about the Green Wave and its manipulated narrative is my favorite part to write, and I'm glad others like the way that mindfuck drives Finn's transformation...

And as for that last part...

I'll admit that a more 'positive' ending was not quite what I had in mind, so hopefully what I have coming up will meet expectations. I plan on getting the finale out by the end of the week. 🙂

Reading everyone's comments is partially making me want to write an alternative ending... And maybe push forward with somewhat of a tangential sequel after the finale. We'll see!
