I may have missed something from the first chapter, but it seemed that Jason was alarmed at the end of the first Chapter to hear what had happened to Roy and wanted to help out. It seemed like Jason had a completely different role in this chapter to encourage and be the mastermind regarding what was happening to Jack. I personally wasn't a fan of a person dying especially due to the fact that Jack knew what he was doing, but you're the author. Generally as a whole, I love it. I do hope you read this comment.
